Well it looks like its all systems go for both Blackpool & Bournemouth Champ shows at the present time (pending any future Government restrictions). Blackpool 25th – 27th September and Bournemouth following the next week. At the present time it would appear that judges are been reviewed for certain breeds and a small time window will be open on line for entries during August. Probably still a long way to go, but positive news for the Dog World.

At the time of compiling these notes I understand that the MTA online show attracted over 387 entries, what a fantastic achievement and shows there is an interest in these events. That will give the judges some difficult decisions. The calendar competition has now begun, so sign in and get those lovely photos of your dogs posted on the website, very simple to do, just upload you photo to the particular thread.

Next up for the MTA is a photo competition, announced in June, capturing Months & Seasons of the year, with the winners been featured on a calendar for 2021, watch the FB page & get your entries in.

The BMTC ‘Summer of Fun’ has begun, kicking off on the 1st July with various photograph competitions, first one up is fancy dress and I note that the club are also holding a competition for calendar photos, so plenty for all to have a go at. 

Sad news came in from Delia Hemsell, advising that her “Merlin” - TETANI WIZARD OF DREAMS JW has gone over rainbow bridge. 6/12/2009-29/06/2020. Mimbre Marauder with Harkeats ex. Tetani Spirit Vision. Merlin gained his Junior Warrant on June 2011.

Looking back 10 years, this time to Bath Canine Society in 2010. The breed judge was the well known Terrier Specialist Paul Wilkinson, he attracted an entry of 32, with 6 absent.
