to be held outdoors at

Cottage Farm, Carlton In Lindrick, Worksop S81 9EU (10 minutes from A1 J34)

COVID-19 SAFE

ENTIRELY WEATHER DEPENDENT!

Weather updates will be given on the day of training and sessions will only be cancelled in the event of heavy rain. Please dress accordingly - we are made of tough stuff!

With experience of many years in the breed we can help you with problems you may be having with your dog, as well as provide general advice on how to improve your performance in the show ring and give ideas and suggestions as to keep your hands on during these challenging times!

We can help you with:

• First-time handlers with a new show dog

• Support for MANY other difficulties you may be experiencing in the show ring

• Puppy and dog socialising

We can offer advice to handlers who get nervous, stressed or anxious when in the ring, all of which affect a dog’s performance!

GROUP RINGCRAFT TRAINING: MORNING

Beginners: First-time handlers with a new show dog

Intermediate: Experienced handlers with a difficult show dog, fidgety, hesitant movement, improving show ring vivacity

Seasoned: Where you would just like your dog to experience a judge going over your dogs to build up confidence and introduce back to the show ring.  You may have show dog training experience,

These group classes are the perfect opportunity to put your dog to the test in a small group environment. With shows soon to recommence in 2020 this is an excellent opportunity to get your dog focused back on the job, but in a quiet training situation with minimal distraction.

Each group session will last up to one hour with every dog and handler being given as much assistance as possible. These classes will include a trainer going over your dog, wearing a face mask if needed.  Judges may wear facemasks at future shows, exposure would therefore be beneficial.

PICNIC

We encourage you to bring your lunch and join in with a picnic.  We will have an open question and answer session on anything Manchester Terrier related.   Bring your gazebos, chairs and tables to suit your own needs.

AFTERNOON MOCK/FUN “DOG SHOW”

There will be a MOCK/FUN “DOG SHOW” (limited entries) at 2pm with the proceeds of donations being to raise funds for the MTA.

STAYING SAFE DURING COVID-19

Sessions will follow a stay safe during COVID-19 format, owing to the global pandemic which we are all affected by. The safety of all of us is of paramount importance. As well as keeping abreast of current/relevant government guidance (which all clients are asked to keep themselves aware of, as this may change between booking your appointment, and attending) I also offer the following guidance/recommendation(s):

• Please make use of appropriate hand sanitisers as you feel necessary before, during and after your session (these will not be provided so please bring your own as you require);

• Should you wish to wear a face mask, please do so - however these are not mandatory as we will be in limited company and working outdoors at a distance;

• It goes without saying that if you, or anyone whom you have had contact with in the 14 days previous to your appointment, have knowingly been exposed to Covid-19, or are showing any symptoms, you should not attend;

• Please ensure you observe hand washing routines, including before and after you have attended and especially when you get home;

• We will provide a table for training, however if you would prefer to bring your own then please just let us know;

• All bookings will be limited attendance and may be subject to updates/changes determined by Government guidelines. If you make a booking you will be informed of any changes affecting these as necessary. Please keep up to date with all relevant changes, additions or modifications to Government guidelines.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding – it’s a challenging time for everyone!
